About BETI VERVEGA

1994: Debuted at the OPTIONS’ exhibition organized at the Contemporary Art Center, 3rd/4th floor, Mihai Oroveanu, Curator Aurelia Mocanu
1994-1997: Participated in a series of organized exhibitions with an artistic program by professor Teodor Moraru at the Galla Gallery in Bucharest, where she exhibited alongside prominent figures in Romanian art.
Since 1994, she has had an intense activity and she has exhibited in many galleries and museums both in the country and abroad. 

In Romania: 9 solo exhibitions, over 100 group and collective exhibitions and 12 international exhibitions.
In 2000 the artist traveled to Africa for 9 months, an experience that would influence her artistic practice for a long period.
She has been included in many albums and books as well in Revista Arta and international publications.

She published 3 personal catalogues: The Simple Present, Connections and In-Extenso
2009 Featured in a film for the IDENTITIES program on TVR Cultural, 30 minutes.
2024 Featured in a film for the MINORITIES program on TVR Cultural, 30 minutes.
