Personal Exhibition "Re-Connect"

The exhibition project Re-connect proposes both the homonymous series, which has been in progress since 2019, as well as several works from previous series of Connections, which follow and explain the path towards a visual formula that has been defined over almost two decades.
The exhibition includes, alongside works that have not been previously exhibited, some landmarks in the journey from figurative and decorative towards abstraction and spatial organizing geometry, and the return, in recent years, to the painterly and chromatic tension that tends to annul the rigor of the modular structure that has become emblematic of her artistic endeavor.
Re-connect is a condensation of an artistic project that has evolved closely with the existential journey and heralds a new stage in the artist Beti Vervega’s creative exploration of the freedom of expression offered by the language of painting.
The exhibition can be visited at The Institute Gallery within the Plastic Fund Compound, between the hours of 12:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday, and 11:00 – 19:00 on weekends, from November 22nd to December 15th, 2023.
